When you're least expecting someone to lower your faith in humanity, someone comes along and reminds you just how dumb people are. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! : "YES! It is a Porsche S with a Boxter body and a mid engine 911 moter, 911 susension, wheels and brakes. 1999 was the only year made." I want to slap this person.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
The full ad copy is as follows:
All leather, power everything, convertible top and a new Pioneer CD deck.
Triptronic manual/automatic transmission.
Mph has a digital read out. 265 like new rear tires and 235 new front tires with alloy rims. 250 break horse power.
YES! It is a Porsche S with a Boxter body and a mid engine 911 moter, 911 susension, wheels and brakes. 1999 was the only year made.
Remember a straight Porsche 911 is a rear engine car, this car is mid engine making it the best handling Porshe - EVER.
At least their badges match their cockamamie story.
Because if the front bumper is original, this car isn't even a Boxster S. The base model has a grille on either side of the front bumper. The S has a third opening in the middle. This is a base model front bumper.
This is a real Boxster S front bumper...

Are those factory decals? because they're lovely. I wouldn't have known what kind of.. waitaminute. Even I know a Boxter from a 911.
Meanwhile, I was disappointed that this $900 specia l is 'each'.
924,928..
just four digits, it must just be the same car with different headlights..
Cool your heels, they're both automatics.

I'd laugh if it actually had the 3.4 conversion. That'd be the best fake out in history.

They're actually 997.2 turbo (style) wheels. I'd be far from shocked if they're replicas.
![]() 06/23/2014 at 22:38 |

Oh I knew they were from a 997 turbo, they are just too big for that car and make it look odd
